Horta, tomatoes, and potatoes in the ashes.

Short list, and shorter in winter. We do not serve a tomato salad in February because it would not be worth eating.

  1. Wild greens horta €6 Boiled, drained, oil and lemon at the table. Whatever Despina’s cousin brought down.
  2. Tomato and onion €7 June to September only. Salt, oil, oregano, no cheese unless you ask.
  3. Potatoes in the ashes €5 Buried in the oven ash overnight and split with a fork.
  4. Cabbage and carrot €5 The winter salad. Lemon, oil, plenty of pepper.
  5. Beetroot with skordalia €7 Leaves included, because the leaves are the good part.
