Three things we will send to your house.
Cured, salted or pressed here, or by someone whose name we know. We ship within Greece, and to the EU on request.
The shop
Everything we sell.
- Cured Lakerda, 250 g — €19Forty-day cured bonito in olive oil. Ships January to April, when the cure is ready.
- House Taramosalata, 250 g — €11Despina’s, made the same morning it is packed. Refrigerated, ships year-round.
- Soufli Olive Oil, 500 ml — €18Unfiltered, pressed in November, from a small grove behind the village.
How shipping works
- We pack on Tuesdays and Fridays. An order placed on a Saturday leaves on the Tuesday.
- Within Greece, two to three days by courier. Five euros, or free over sixty.
- The taramosalata travels with a cold pack and should go into a fridge the day it arrives.
- Within the EU, write to us first at [email protected]. The oil travels anywhere; the taramosalata does not travel well past three days and we would rather tell you so than take your money.
- We do not ship outside the EU. The paperwork costs more than the lakerda.

Telephone or write and we will send another or refund you, your choice, without asking for a photograph. See Returns & Refunds.
